A downloadable game for Windows

Submission for HPS1 Halloween Jam 2020.

--

There's nothing special about this game. It's just another space shooter. Maybe a bit high definition for '97 technology, but otherwise it's fairly standard. Right? Surely nothing bad will happen.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get the game to a 'complete' state, but I'm submitting what I've done, anyway. The time I didn't spend on figuring out shaders, I wasted on learning Blender. The good thing is that I am getting better with both Unity and Blender, though I'm still very much an amateur.

Please ignore any texture seams - I'm still trying to figure out how to hide them.

The 'folk horror' aspect would have been clearer if I'd gotten more done, but the emphasis on exploration and atmosphere would still be the main focus. Thought I'd do a sci-fi blend to spice things up a bit, as most of these submissions seem to be set in the woods or some creepy mansion.

Tested on Windows x64.

Great game. I would try avoiding too much glitchy solutions, it sometimes can appear as an actual glitch to a player, resulting in reloading the game like I did in the tentacle chase after dropping down to the black room. I'm giving this advice based on my personal experience both playing and making games. Keep up the good work! :D

Hey awesome super cool release! Congrats did you see who played your game!? I am happy you managed to get it finished and uploaded! :D

Thanks for playing! As a complete amateur, it's super surreal to see someone playing through my game, let alone someone with a huge following!
